Our Teen leaders had their first event of the season! They visited West Point Academy where they met with West Point Cadets and participated in field activities.
The HFH Summer Camps Teen Leader program is designed to give campers who have aged out of our summer camp program the opportunity to mentor younger campers as well as learn valuable skills that will help them as they grow into adulthood. In addition to being at camp all summer, the Teen Leader program plans events outside of the camp season to encourage the bond between teen leaders and assist in the mission of teamwork, empowerment, and education. This program is by invitation only—each teen leader was selected by our camp directors because as campers they displayed leadership qualities and a love for camp!
